STADE TESSEMA

Description

Stade Tessema is reimagined as a fluid silhouette rising at the heart of Casablanca — an architecture that breathes with the city and unfolds as a dynamic civic landmark. Designed to host 20,000 spectators, the stadium transcends its athletic function to become a place of encounter, movement, and collective energy.

A lightweight steel envelope defines its identity. Taut yet graceful, the structure appears to hover above the ground, lifting and folding in a gesture of openness that invites the public inward. Its continuous lines evoke motion, speed, and vitality, while integrating softly into the surrounding urban fabric. Steel, chosen as the primary material, establishes a deliberate dialogue with the neighboring automotive workshops, transforming the site’s industrial memory into a contemporary architectural expression.

The project is not only the renewal of a stadium, but the revitalization of its district. Activated by events and daily life alike, the intervention redefines the area as a vibrant social and cultural hub, where architecture acts as a catalyst for urban regeneration.

Stade Tessema emerges as a symbol of innovation and contemporary design — reflecting Casablanca’s forward momentum and projecting its energy confidently into the future.
