Khalid Abisourour is the founding design principal at DARC Studios, where his international background shapes a distinctive design vision. Drawing on experiences from across the globe, Khalid blends diverse cultural influences into designs that are both thoughtful and impactful, always considering the intersection of space and culture.
Before founding DARC Studios, Khalid was a design leader at top firms like Gensler and SOM. There, he led the design of large-scale, complex projects, making a significant mark on urban landscapes worldwide. His ability to navigate intricate design challenges with innovative solutions set him apart as a leader in the field.
At DARC Studios, Khalid continues to push the boundaries of design, creating spaces that engage, empower, and transform. His work remains at the forefront of contemporary architecture, reflecting a commitment to creating meaningful, well-considered environments.
Julio D. Salgado
Founding Design Partner
Raised in a family of architects and builders, Emiliano found an architectural office his natural habitat. With a strong architectural background and a passion for 3D visualization, he strongly believes that only smoothly working teams are capable of creating great buildings.
After graduating with the highest grades in his class, he migrated to the United States, where he acquired experience working for architectural offices and Design-Build firms. He returned to Argentina in 2003 and co-founded V-XION Design Network, a 30 people firm that has being successfully assisting AEC firms in the US and the Middle East for the past 5 years. Emiliano is now Partner and the Director of Operations of the Argentina office for Studios DARC, specifically of the team that is dedicated to Middle Eastern work.
